Conflict may not be the best way to improve morale in the workplace, but it can happen that way. Conflict can be a path to fixing what’s broken, but it has to begin with great communication on the part of leadership. Good leaders are empathetic and they are excellent listeners. When an employee has a problem, a good manager is going to see it and make a connection. This makes the employee feel valued and that they have a team of people working with them who care about their satisfaction.
